As the Youth of today we desire a lot of good things such as nice cars ,nice clothes ,nice hair etc.
These are all materialistic things... Are we desiring to have a close relationship with our King?
We are looking for validation and confirmation in these materialistic things because if people see us they will appreciate us or respect us more due to the things we acquire.

What is desire?
Desire is where you have a strong feeling or wish for something. This is where you are hoping for this wish to be fulfilled. 

Let me burst your bubble. The bible says in Matthew 6:33 ''Seek ye the Kingdom of God first''
Therefore, whatever desire you have needs to be put on hold for a second because God's will needs to be your desire. In Psalms 42:1 ''As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee'' Your soul needs to panth for the Lord. You need to come to a place where you are fully assured that even though you may not have all these materialistic things as long as you are rooted in Christ you are fine.

God desires to have a relationship with each and everyone of us if we let him. But how can you see God looking at you and desiring that relationship with you  if you are looking at other things but God. God's will for your life will add all of these things. All these things that we are looking for God's says it's just an added bonus. We need to make sure that we are right with God and stand in him in order for him to add the bonus. How can I work in Debenhams and expect to get my salary from Tesco if I haven't worked hard for it? The moment you sow in the house of God, desiring to serve him. Desiring to get closer to him by attending fellowship meetings etc. He sees all of this and will reward you accordingly. He wants you to come back to the heart of worship.....
In our Generation it's hard to focus on God sometimes because the distraction is on a high level.
But if you know where he has brough you from. You won't hesitate when it comes to serving God.

You don't want to be a part-time Christian and come to God whenever you feel like it. God knows you are longing for that relationship with him,  however you are getting distracted by the wrong things. You are wandering off when there is a clear sign to the path of righteousness...I would like to plead with you to desire the things of God... for a lot of things in the world will lead to attraction but this particular attraction will eventually lead to destruction.

As a Christian I have realised that you can't just be associated with anyone and everyone.
In life choices need to be made and this also needs to be done with the people you move around with. You can have friends you speak to on a day to day basis, but you also need friends who are Christian friends and who have Christ as their foundation. In a friendship if Christ is your main common ground, it enables you to share ideas and waken eachother up where necessary. In friendship, you are mostly connected by your common interest, but as a Christian you are connected through Christ because he is your source. 

The most important element in friendship and any relationship is forgiveness. This is such an important tool that can make friendships and break them. As a Christian forgiveness should be of second nature , people will do stuff to hurt you even people you never expected it from. But this is when you need to brush it off and move on. Our model is Jesus Christ and he is the perfect example when it comes to forgiveness. Jesus has forgiven us in a great way so how much more us.. if you want to be like Christ adopt the art of following. He forgave you, so why don't you want to forgive others?
 It's that simple. Colossians 3:12-13

As a Christian friend you are not only being a friend, but you are also being a brother or sister in Christ. We are all connected through Christ and we are all partakers of his body. We all share a responsibility to preach the Gospel and reach out to people who haven't received this word of Faith. If I associate myself with you as a Christian brother of sister I expect to be strengthened 6/12 months down the line. Whenever there is a problem and I seek for your advice I expect you to give me the scriptures. You need Christian friends who will be willing to pray for you and pray with you when things don't seem right in your life. The difference between your Christian friends and worldly friends is the act of faith. Christian friends will stand and apply the act of faith by praying and believing for a change in your circumstances which unbelievers won't even think of. 

Let me tell you something the counsel you keep is very important in this life, especially if you are a Christian. Friends that do not apply the word apply the sword. And instead of strenghtening you as a person they are gradually killing you and killing your spirit. You need to die to self when it comes to friendship aswell where you give generously where you are loving and caring towards others. I always advise people to connect with other, especially your brothers and sisters in Christ. Sometimes we think God packages gifts or blessings and hands it over to us. But little do we know that he blesses us through people. That connection that you need may be sitting right next to you. A true friend will stick with you no matter what people will say about you or to you. 

Be wise and associate yourself with those who will broaden your mind and not corrupt it.

As Christians, we are always on our toes as to what we do and how we do it. Usually it is because, we are afraid of what people will say and we do not turn to the cross for answers.
We need to understand that God has placed gifts in each and everyone of us, we can't expect God to intervene if we do not allow him to.
The gift given to you, is for a purpose you are meant to implement this gift and water it in order for it to grow and blossom. We often think that our blessings or talents can be found outside when it's mostly inside of us  |1 John 4:4|
We tend to limit ourselves and look down on ourselves because we have little faith now holding onto the word and running with it. God has given you the gift so you can sow into it. Where you prepare yourself mentally and emotionally for the battles ahead revolving your gift.

A Gift is seen as a natural ability or talent that has been given to one. In our Christian walk God has given us gifts not just to benefit us, but also those around us. Our God given gift is meant to encourage others and give hope. Our gift is for the purpose of serving others with this gift. Apostle Paul even states that "We all have different gifts and this is linked to the grace God has given to us, this gift is must be used." You may have one talent which may seem small in your eyes but you may not know that your "little" talent may change someones destiny.  You as an individual need to sow in your gift, that's why God has given us sources such as education, etc. This is all to enchance our gifts and this prepares us for our mandate.

You can't sow on ground that is not able to receive. Sometimes we think we can just offer anything to God when he is not able to receive what we have given him such as Cain and Abel's story.  When you as an individual sow into your gift, you are telling God you are ready to use the gift
he has given you. The moment you sow positive thinking into your talent you are creating more space for growth. You need to sow on ground that is free of negativity. The moment you sow on good grounds with good thoughts ; trust and believe my God will do exceedingly and abundantly. Sowing is very important if you want to reach the next milestone in life. This enables you to drop seeds and see them flourish. What I like about sowing is you can do it gradually and as you move on and take care of your gifts the other seeds will start to grow . Dropping one seed that is combined with faith can take you to the next level in life.

The moment you sow, you can't just leave it in the ground and not water it or else it will die, this applies to our gifts as well. The effort we put in will show when we are implementing it.... In Christ you are Victorious even though God does not look for perfect people he has a way of perfecting us in his own eyes. Whatever we do Christ has won the battle already therefore, we need to understand that we are reaping royal rewards. Whatever plan, we have at the stage of sowing you need to make your visions, dreams and plans plain on tables |Habakkuk 2:2| where you dedicate it to God"You need to put in work as faith without works is dead." The reaper is very intelligent and very observant as they know when they need to water the plants. They observe this because, it is of importance. It is of value to them . That's how we need to value our gift from God where we keep watering our gifts and sowing into the gift in order for our reward to be big.

Let's be honest you have come and long way.... you weren't always like this. All your gifts and talents have worked out for your good.  I know as humans we look at the negatives but the stage of life you are in right now it's not to glorify yourself but to honour and glofiry the Most High. Therefore, anything that you've been through it's all worked out for
your good! You are Victorious in all your plans and goals. In the process of sowing and reaping you have a field with your name on it that shows the amount of work you have put in your vineyard. Your gifts and talents with your hard work have been placed in your personal vineyard and the more you look after it and invest in your gifts, it will surely show. Your vineyard is about to acquire more land as God is about to add more to you. But remember to be faithful to God and his given gifts.

This has been a heavy burden on my heart please read below,

The words that people are speaking against your children can affect them in a mighty way. Where teachers will put them down and try to sway them off their life purpose. Where their dreams and visions will be tarnished by the image of this world. Where failure, underachievement and laziness will seem normal to them. No! We can change this;  every morning when you wake up speak life into their lives! Speak Greatness into their lives. Speak Speak Speak don't be quiet for these little ones have the keys of heaven! Speak into your children's life and plead the blood! Aaaahhh

Let me tell you something, these teachers teaching your kids, it's not all of them that are there to help your children achieve.

You don't know what they did before coming to teach your child. The words they spoke before attending class! The darkness they called upon before teaching. They may be teachers in the physical, but you don't know who they are in the spiritual.  So beware and be a warrior on behalf of your children!! Oh Lord May you hear the cry of parents/guardians/family members my God. May their voices be recognised in heaven, Lord Jesus! May these children be set aside for your purpose. May they achieve their goals and dreams. May they give birth to bright futures! This I pray, Amen

Happy New Month Everyone!

Today I just wanted to share a little bit about God's silence.
When you are on  your way to the promise land a time will come where you will
question your relationship with God. A time will come where God will be silent.
|Job: “I cry to you for help and you do not answer me; I stand, and you only look at me.”| (Job 30:20)
Whenever God is silent, he is working. Have you noticed the moment you feel like God is silent, you are more hungry for that relationship with him?
I went through a time where I was angry at God because, he felt too far away from me.
But instead of me crying out to him and seeking his face I just relaxed... however, at this time of ''relaxation'' I wasn't really ''relaxed'' a huge part was missing in my life... I wasn't plugged to my original life source.  I was confused and sad. I felt lonely but I wasn't lonely. God was there the whole time.|Psalm 23:4|.. but where was I?
One day I just sat down contemplating about my life and the Holy Spirit ministered to me.
I was asked a question ''What are you doing?''

What prayers are you offering to God?
Do you spend less time with God, but more time with your friends?
Do you have time to bow down and Worship Him?
Do you have time to Glorify the Name of the Most High?
It is easy to blame God when he seems absent, but what are you doing?
It is time to focus on God!

God wants us to come to him and persevere; have you noticed that anytime you want to get close to someone you are constant because you want the relationship to grow. This perserverance should even be more with God (1 Chronicles 16:11) be consistant in prayer. (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Don't just go to God whenever you feel like it. If you truly love someone you are always communicating with them, showing them your love, setting time aside for them and always thinking of them (Eiii some of you this is just the basics you do more than this for your beloved)
How much more God? The One who sent his Son so you and I could have life and have it more abundantly? The maker of Heaven and Earth? The Way Maker ? The Miracle Worker? Your Healer?
Your Teacher? Your Protector? The KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS?
Has God said anything that he will not do? (Numbers 23:19)

God always fulfils his promise. This year promise God and restructure your relationship.
This year become a full time Christian. Walk in his Glory and Proclaim his Name unto the Nations.
Don't let the devil confuse you. God loves you and he wants you to come to him, however he can't force you to come towards him. God has given us free will and you have a choice.

Choose Wisely.

Hello, Warrior in Christ

I am so excited and beyond happy to share another post with you.
I was blessed to be part of our youth camp
 (Next Generation Church.)
Which has empowered and encouraged me, therefore I want to encourage someone and share ideas on the power of serving and doing this with a grateful heart.

Sometimes, I believe as individuals we do not appreciate the circumstances we are in because, we want God to do more in our lives, but we need to realise that there is no test without a testimony. We need to go through Highs and Lows before we get to our end destination.
We serve in the house of God not be acknowledged by others, but to glorify God.
And I believe we ought to do this with a grateful heart. Whether you're part of the ushering department, Praise and Worship team, Media team etc, you need to do it to the best of your ability.
/Psalm 100:2/ ''Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing.''

As young people, we are privileged to be instruments in the
House of God for the next generation. We are laying a foundation that can be built on. We must serve with joy and excitement. I love this song ''Better is one Day.'' Being under his covering for one day can move you to another level in life.  Serving in God's house gives you so many opportunities and opens a lot of doors that the outside world can't offer.

First and foremost, you need to understand who you are serving in order to do it with gladness. The excitement that a little child gets from going to a toy store is unbelievable, but when it comes to us going to the house of God sometimes seems like a burden. Which shouldn't be the case at all listen; It's an honour to arrange the chairs, it's an honour to sing for his people, it's an honour to clean the toilets, It's an honour to look after the children in Sunday school under his covering.
/1Pe 1:8/ ''You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him, you trust him; and even now you are happy with a glorious, inexpressible joy.''

Have that personal relationship with him, pray to him each and every day to make sure you create that bond. God is your heavenly father,  he is the father of all Nations! You are beyond privileged to call him your God because he has won the victory over everything. /The God who turned water into wine/The God who opened the eyes of the blind/ The God who made the earth/ The God who healed the sick/ The God who spoke and it was done - I can go on and on.

We all need to be united in order for God's presence to dwell amongst us, /Eph 4:3/ ''Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.''  We need to set an example for our generation and the next by loving each other and promoting his kingdom. Each person brings an important element to the table when serving God. We serve God in various areas, God gave us special gifts to contribute to our community. You need to find significance in sharing your gifts. There are no useless parts. Every member is important in the Body of Christ. Each body part performs a special function and so do we in the body of Christ. We all need to ensure that we work together in order for the body to function properly.

In hard times and trouble, times seek God and serve him. Don't wait until you get promoted before you start serving, and stop after your life elevator get's stuck for a second. God wants to see us prosper and bear fruit. We need to sow into the kingdom of God and this can also be done through serving. Through serving a lot of benefits and positive energy will be drawn to you. Reward, healing and blessing will be your portion
.
Be a humble servant, walk with Christ in love. Wherever God places you in his Kingdom keep on serving. You will graduate soon and when you do remember God! Your serving is preparing you for your testimony.

Hello everyone,

If you are reading this right now, I would like to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you for taking time out of your schedule to read my blog.
Around December 2014 I struggled with my Faith in the Lord. I wanted to take the next step in life concerning my education, but something seemed to block me. I didn't understand why God would bring me so far to leave me all by myself. I felt weak, unworthy and unloved by God. Even though I kept smiling deep inside I felt like an empty vessel not worthy of his Grace. I wanted to be ahead of God and take matters into my own hands. I didn't seek his face and thought that I could do it without the King of Kings. 

God doesn't work like that he said in his word /Psalm 27:14/ Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. As children of God, we need to learn to have faith in his word and his commandments. Since he said  in /Jeremiah 29: 11/ For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Therefore, whatever happens, it is all working for your good. At the time I did not see his glory in my life because I was too busy proving him wrong. When we doubt we're telling God that he can't prosper us. We are telling him that he is not capable of doing what he said he will do. The more we doubt him, the more he wants to tell us that we are doing it wrong. 

Great is his mercy towards me, and I finally discovered that this battle is not meant to be fought by me. But by the Lord my God, I just need to believe and rest upon his promise. When I received this word in  /Ephesians 3:20/Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. I instantly relaxed and made him take absolute control. And indeed he took charge, I thank God he made me wait during that time because now I have a testimony in order to prove his Glory. Sometimes we want God to speed the process, but he knows that all his plans will work together for your Good. So, even if you're the slowest  among your peers, it is all working together for your good! Your time will come don't worry. 

As I kept on trusting and believing December 2015 was a smooth ride because I handed over the wheel. I surrendered my own weapons, as I was fighting against myself. I wasn't fighting against myself this time round, but I was fighting together with God in the Army of his Kingdom against the attacker. 2015 made me realise that even though you might think you have all the answers to everything, you don't!
Our God is the only one who has the answers and is able to help you through your struggles. He knew you! /Jeremiah 1:5/ He sanctified, you before you came out of your mother's womb. Death could not hold him down, he is our risen King!

Take authority in 2016, make God your everything lean, trust and believe in him. He will never leave you nor forsake you! He loves you, keep praying and believing him for your miracle. If you are lacking in any area, ask him for help and he will surely come through for you.

Everyone knows the saying "Life is a journey." And it's the only thing that can keep you going. We as human beings like giving up on things, when we haven't even reached half of the journey. Each individual that has a mission to accomplish, must walk the walk inorder to complete the journey. You can't expect someone else to complete the journey for you because, everyone is unique. Christ appointed all of us to be purpose driven. We need to find ourselves inorder to recandle our purpose. The journey is not easy... as we all walk by faith but not by sight. Often we want a confirmation before embarking the journey but sometimes we need to step in with faith and reassure ourselves that with God all things are possible. 'I'm going to walk in boldness & accomplish my goal.'
